How to open virtualization settings on a computer?

First enable and install the virtual machine in the BIOS settings, and then install the virtual machine under the system.

1. Start virtualization settings under BIOS:

Intel platform

1. After the computer is turned on, immediately press the 'delete' key on the keyboard to enter the BIOS [EZMode] page

2. Press the F7 key on the keyboard to enter AdvanceMode, as shown in the figure below:

(If you press the 'delete' key on the keyboard after turning on the computer, you will enter AdvanceMode. BIOSAdvanceMode, there is no need to press the F7 key on the keyboard)

3. Click the [Advanced] page and click the [CPUConfiguration] option

4. Click the [Intel (VMX) Virtualization Technology] option and set it to [Enabled]

5. Press the F10 key on the keyboard and click [Ok] to save the option. After the computer restarts, the BIOS settings can be completed

AMD platform

1. After the computer is turned on, immediately press the 'delete' key on the keyboard to enter the BIOS [AdvancedMode] page

2. Click the [Advanced] page and click the [CPUConfiguration] option

3. Click the [SVMMode] option and set it to [Enabled]

4. Press the F10 key on the keyboard and click [Ok] to save the options. After the computer restarts, the BIOS settings will be completed

Second, install the virtual machine under the system.

1. Click Search and enter "Control Panel"

2. Click [Uninstall a program]

3. Click [Turn Windows features on or off]

4. Check [Hyper-V] and click [OK]

5. Wait for the Hyper-V function to be installed and click [ Restart now]

6. After restarting the system, click [Start Menu] and select [Windows System Management Tools]

7. Select [Hyper -V Administrator]

8. Right-click [Virtual Machine], select [New], select [Virtual Machine]

10. Set the name and location of the virtual machine and click Next

11. Select the generation of this virtual machine Click Next

12. Set the startup memory size and click Next

13. Set up the network connection: Select [DefaultSwitch] and click Next< /p>

14. Set the name, location, and size of the virtual disk and click Next

15. Set the bootable image file and click Next

16. Click Finish

17. Right-click the virtual machine and select Online

18. Select the language to be installed and click Next

19. Check Select I accept the licensing terms and click Next

20. Select the installation type

21. Set the disk size and click Apply

22. Click OK

23. Click Next

24. Wait for the installation

25. Restart the virtual machine after the installation is complete

How to enable Intel virtualization technology on Lenovo laptops?
To enable virtualization technology support, several conditions are required: support from the chipset itself, support from the BIOS, support from the processor itself, and operating system support.
First press the F2 hotkey to enter the BIOS at the POST Logo, select the Configuration option, select IntelVirtualTechnology and press Enter, as shown below:
Move the cursor to Enabled and press Enter to confirm. :

How to set up virtualization in Lenovo's BIOS?
To enable virtualization on a computer, you need CPU, motherboard, BIOS, and operating system support. Mainstream CPUs and operating systems support virtualization, so the main thing is to enable virtualization in the motherboard BIOS. The following is This is how to enable virtualization in Lenovo computer BIOS.
1. Intel platform home notebooks. (Y, Z, G, N series)

Press F1 when booting, enter the BIOS and select Advanced, then select the CPUsetup option, select Intel (R) Virtual Technology and set it to Enable.
5. Enable virtualization on AMD platform desktop computers.
Press F1 when booting, enter the BIOS and select Advanced, then select the SVMuCodeOption option and set it to Enable.
Note:
If the BIOS has a virtualization option, just turn it on. If the BIOS does not have a virtualization option, it means that the CPU or BIOS does not support virtualization.
