虚拟机开机找不到文件(虚拟机找不到文件的原因)

When opening the virtual machine, it says that the vmx file cannot be found, what should I do?
Check whether the corresponding file exists in the corresponding path!
If the path has been modified, relocate the vmx file and open the imported virtual machine.
If the virtual machine has been deleted, just reinstall the virtual machine.
The virtual machine shows that the specified file cannot be found when it is started
VMwareTools prompts that the file cannot be found for the following reasons:
1. The installed VMware Workstation uses a streamlined version, and the streamlined version of the software will delete some parts that are not found. Commonly used components can easily cause the inability to find and call related files during the VMware Tools installation process, thus causing errors
2. The VMware Workstation used is the green version. The green version software does not write to the registry or import the software installation path contained in the registry information. There is an error, causing the wrong registry value to be read during the VMwareTools installation process, and the corresponding component cannot be found and an error is reported.
Solution:
1. Generally, streamlined versions of software come with an uninstall tool. Run the uninstall tool and delete it completely before downloading the full version of VMware Workstation software. You can search the serial number on Baidu (piracy is not encouraged).
2. The streamlined version generally has an anti-installation registry file. Run the corresponding registry file in the folder to delete the wrong registry key value. After deletion, install the full version of VMware Workstation software.
What should I do if VMware prompts that it cannot find a file or directory?

When you encounter this problem when using VMware, it is usually because another process is accessing VMware's virtual disk file (such as a .vmdk file), which causes this error. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

Close VMwareWorkstation or VMwarePlayer.

Use Task Manager (press Ctrl+Shift+Esc) to check if there are any VMware-related processes running, such as "". If so, end these processes.

Check whether other virtual machines are using the same virtual disk file. If so, shut down any virtual machines that are using this virtual disk.

If you are using shared storage (such as a network storage NAS), please make sure that other users or systems have not locked these files.

If the problem persists, try restarting the computer and starting VMware again. Restarting can help clear locks or processes that may be blocking file access.

If the problem persists, the file or file system may be damaged. Please try creating a backup of the virtual machine and try repairing or recreating the virtual disk using VMware's disk management tools such as vmware-vdiskmanager or vmkfstools.

Please note that before performing any operation, make sure you have a backup of the virtual machine to prevent data loss.
