Guide to turning on VT in BIOS

1. Enter the BIOS

Refer to the following keys, press and hold the corresponding key to enter the BIOS when booting:

2. Turn on VT

(1) Enter the BIOS, select the Configuration option, select IntelVirtualTechnology and press Enter. Note: If there is no VT option or cannot be changed, it means that your computer does not support VT technology.

(2) Move the cursor to Enabled and press Enter to confirm.

(3) At this time, the option will change to Enabled. Finally, press the F10 hotkey to save and exit to turn on the VT function.

2. InsydeBIOS model

(1) Enter the BIOS, select the Configuration option, select IntelVirtualTechnology and press Enter.

(2) Move the cursor to Enabled and press Enter to confirm.

(3) At this time, the option will change to Enabled. Finally, press the F10 hotkey to save and exit to turn on the VT function.

Steps and methods to enable the Hyper-V function of the Win10 virtual machine:

Prerequisite:

1 . The Hyper-V virtual machine function is built into the Win10 system, but this function is only available for the Win10 Preview/Professional Edition (Enterprise Edition).

2. Using Hyper-V requires the CPU to support virtualization and be turned on.

Operation steps:

1. First, you need to open the Control Panel, click "Start", select "All Apps", open "Windows System", and then Open the "Control Panel" if there is a shortcut on the desktop, you can open it directly.

2. After opening, select "Large Icons" to open "Programs and Features".

3. Open "Turn Windows features on or off" on the left.

4. Then check "Hyper-V" to confirm (the sub-file management tool and the platform automatically check it).

5. After completion, you need to wait for a while and then restart the computer.

6. After restarting, click "Start", "All Programs", click "Windows Management Tools" and then you can see "Hyper-V".

7. Click Hyper-V to enter the main interface, and the win10 virtual machine hyper-V will be turned on.

Note:

1. The Win10 virtual machine hyper-V is a function only available in the Win10 preview version, professional version, and enterprise version. Other Win10 versions None of them are available. The Win10 system pre-installed on Lenovo computers does not have the hyper-V function. Please check the Win10 version type in advance.

2. Using Hyper-V requires the CPU to support virtualization and be turned on before it can be used.
