云计算可以分为哪几类(云计算包括哪些类型)

How many types of cloud computing are there?

According to the deployment model, cloud computing can be divided into public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud, community cloud and public cloud.

(1) Private cloud. Cloud resources are only available to users within an organization, which is the core feature of private cloud. There are no strict regulations on who owns the ownership, schedule management and operation of the cloud. It may be the own unit, a third-party organization, or a combination of the two. The cloud may be located within your organization or hosted elsewhere.

(2) Community cloud. Cloud resources are exclusively used by users within a few fixed units, and these units have the same demands on the cloud (such as security requirements, cloud mission, rules and regulations, compliance requirements, etc.). The owner of the cloud and the daily management operations may be one or more units within the community, or a third-party organization outside the community, or a combination of the two. The cloud may be deployed locally or elsewhere.

(3) Public cloud. Cloud resources are developed for public use. The owner, day-to-day management, and operation of the cloud can be a commercial organization, an academic institution, a government department, or a combination of several of them. The cloud may be deployed locally or in other places. For example, the cloud of Zhongshan Citizen Public Cloud may be built in Zhongshan or Shenzhen.

What are the types of cloud computing?

Cloud computing can generally be divided into three categories: infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS).

1. IaaS: Encapsulate basic resources such as hardware equipment into services for users to use. In an IaaS environment, users are equivalent to using bare metal and disks, which can either run Windows or Linux. The biggest advantage of IaaS is that it allows users to dynamically apply for or release nodes and is billed based on usage. IaaS is shared by the public and therefore has higher resource usage efficiency.

2. PaaS: Provides the running environment for user applications, typically such as GoogleAppEngine. PaaS itself is responsible for the dynamic expansion and fault-tolerant management of resources, and user applications do not need to consider too much coordination issues between nodes. But at the same time, users have reduced autonomy and must use a specific programming environment and follow a specific programming model, which is only suitable for solving certain specific computing problems.

3. SaaS: More targeted, it encapsulates certain application software functions into services. SaaS neither provides computing or storage resource type services like PaaS, nor does it provide an environment for running user-defined applications like IaaS. It only provides certain specialized services for application calls.

Background

The Internet began to rise in 1960 and is mainly used for plain text email or news cluster services between the military, large enterprises, etc. It was not until 1990 that it began to enter ordinary households. With the development of web sites and e-commerce, the Internet has become one of the necessities of life that people cannot live without. The concept of cloud computing was first proposed at the Search Engine Conference in August 2006, becoming the third revolution of the Internet.

In recent years, cloud computing is becoming a strategic focus of the development of the information technology industry, and information technology companies around the world are transforming to cloud computing. For example, every company needs to informatize data, store relevant operational data, conduct product management, personnel management, financial management, etc., and the basic equipment for these data management is the computer.

What categories can cloud computing be divided into based on service type?
According to service type, cloud computing can be divided into infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service. (SaaS) three categories.
IaaS: Infrastructure as a Service, consumers can obtain services from complete computer infrastructure through the Internet. IaaS is a business model that allocates hardware resources such as data centers and infrastructure to users through the Web.

PaaS actually refers to using the software development platform as a service and submitting it to users in the SaaS model. Therefore, PaaS is also an application of the SaaS model.
SaaS: Software as a Service. It is a model that provides software through the Internet. Users do not need to purchase software, but rent Web-based software from providers to manage business activities.
